Rajiv

Born in the capital of yoga, rishikesh in 1978, surrounded by the yogic energies of great yogi’s and saints on the bank of holy river ganga. He has started his spiritual journey in yoga at rishikesh from his childhood at the Rajeev-lochan ashram, rishikesh under the holy guidance of pram-pujya swami Hayagrabhacharya ji. Swami ji gave him the divine- wisdom of Vedanta, Gita, Tark-shastra, Nayay-mimansa etc. Next in his spiritual journey he went to the Moni-baba ashram, rishikesh for the advance study of yoga and meditation. Under the divine shade of param-pujya swami Samrupananda ji he learnt many unfold ways of how to make one-self attach to the Divine.

Educational Qualification

He is having a Bachelor degree in commerce from Garhwal University, uttrakhand.

Qualification in Yoga

Diploma in Traditional Hatha-yoga Teacher Training from Shri Ved-Niketan ashram, rishikesh under some of the most dedicated yoga teacher of modern rishikesh yogi krishnacharya ji, yogi Prakash dawekar ji, yogi upendra ji.

Personal Sadhana

Went for the search of inner being and connection with the Divine, he has spend time on the places where great yogi’s has done sadhana and went for the Samadhi, places like badrinath, kedarnath, yamunotri, gangotri, shiv-puri, brahm-puri, pithoragarh, almora, nanital etc.

Experience in Yoga-Teaching

Started his teaching under the vishwa-guru mahamandleshwar swami ji at shri ved-niketan ashram, rishikesh for five years as a prime teacher of yoga and meditation from the year 2002 to the year 2007.

After the maha-prayan (death) of vishwa-guru he left the ved-niketan ashram, rishikesh and started a new chapter in his spiritual journey at Rishikesh yog peeth in swargashram, rishikesh from the year 2007.





Roshan

Yogi Roshan is one of the founder members and elected president of the rishikesh yog peeth. As a lecturer in rishikesh yog peeth, he is trying to unfold the concept of ancient yoga and its various aspects (from history of yoga, different paths of yoga, chakra system, kundlini, samadhi to yoga therapy) in relation with modern psychology. He is having a graduate degree from the Garhwal-university, rishikesh, uttrakhand, India. After completing the education Yogi Roshan and some of his friends initiated the rishikesh yog peeth, a complete yoga study center in rishikesh, a society registered under the Indian government section 1860, to spread the ancient knowledge of yoga and ayurveda in a modern way.
