Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India Reaching and Staying at Rishikesh Yogpeeth
Rishikesh Yogpeeth conducts its courses in two locations just outside Rishikesh, India. Kindly find the details below :
1. Abhayaranya Campus
This is the main location where we conduct the Extended 200-hours TTC (4 weeks duration), 300-hours TTC and 500-hours TTC. It is recorded in history and tradition that yogis and seekers of India sought the solitude of the Himalayas to deepen and perfect their practice. They believed there was a special energy in these mountains that aided their efforts.
True to this tradition, Rishikesh Yogpeeth has built a campus called Abhayaranya in a place that is situated on a hill-side, away from the bustle of Rishikesh, near a tiny Himalayan village called Patna. What strikes the visitor is the quietness cradled by the surrounding hills. This quietness is broken by the muted sound of the holy Ganga flowing below, almost out of sight, reminding you of her presence. Abhyaranya can be reached by a short, but stiff trek on foot from the nearest drop-off point on the Neelkanth Mahadev road from Rishikesh, just before Phool Chatti.
Accommodation at Abhayaranya
We have 18 cottages with two well appointed, spacious and comfortable rooms in each cottage. Each room has twin beds, attached toilet with shower and running hot water. Each room can have either single or double occupancy. You will be asked your choice (single/sharing) while booking the course.
Meals are taken in a large dining hall in the ashram. The arrangement is traditional where you sit on the floor in rows and are served lovingly by our staff and student volunteers.
2. Ganga Campus
This is where we conduct the Standard 200-hours TTC (3-weeks duration). The Ganga campus is located at Shree Vithal Ashram, right next to the river Ganga. This campus is just off the Ram Jula Bypass Muni Ki Reti, about 2 kilometres from Rishikesh Main City.
Accommodation at Ganga Campus
There are 10 cosy cottages at Ganga Campus. Each cottage has twin beds, attached toilet with shower and running hot water. You have a choice of single or double occupancy in these cottages. Meals are taken in a common dining area.View Accomodation Facilities
